Snow Goose Cherry Tree (prunus serrulata) is a Japanese flowering cherry tree. The flowering tree can virtually fit in any gardening space due to its oval form and low canopy. Its vase-shaped branches bloom bright green leaves and white flowers with deep pink centers in April.
As seasons progress and fall arrives, leaves turn a bronzed orange color and its bark glows royal burgundy. The tree grows best in full sun, and is extremely disease resistant. It has a medium growth rate of about 2 to 4 inches per year and can last upwards of 50 years.
