Viburnum carlesii 'Spice Baby'

Height and Spread: 3.5-5'
Likes full to part sun
Spice Baby is a deciduous shrub that flowers in early spring. Borne on old wood, the blush white flowers emerge from pretty pink buds. The large, fragrant clusters attract pollinators, including bees and butterflies.
Spice Baby has a compact, upright, freely branching, outwardly spreading habit and vigorous growth, stronger than other compact V. carlesii varieties, which are commonly called Koreanspice. It's a lovely specimen for smaller spaces but is shown to best effect massed or grouped in beds, borders, or foundation plantings. And it makes a great hedge or privacy screen.
PLEASE NOTE: To produce berries, you'll need another carlesii (same species) but a different cultivar (Spice Girl).
